SPOKANE SYMPHONY MUSICIANS
Contract Negotiation  –  The Next Phase

James Kytonen
Violin Works

Music in nature is a fragile ecosystem.  A songbird just wants to sing. It is a beautiful melody defined by the rapture it brings to the human heart. A songbird just wants to be safe so that it can sing. So that it can soar above us in flight. But if this feathered spirit is put into a cage and abandoned then a bondage of the human spirit is felt within us all. Because the songbird stopped singing. Because.

James Kytonen of Violin Works cares for all of us who love music. Although he professes to be a luthier I seek counseling from him about the condition of humanity. Jim may know the language of wood but he also knows about the intrinsic value of relationships. This is an excellent video about James Kytonen and if you haven't seen it already please enjoy.

  1. So beautifully said. Tenderly written. Insight worthy of any songbird. Soar eagle. Soar.
